What an incredible mix of musical talents we saw with this collaborative guitar trio called ‘6 Hands’. The quietly spoken John Williams began the concert solo in classical mode and was then joined by John Etheridge known for jazz-fusion style. The last pair of hands came from Gary Ryan whose innovative guitar compositions including ‘Benga Beat’ are simply amazing.
They get their instruments to talk, sing, whisper and just about anything you want the guitar to do. To watch the guys play is awesome, but to close your eyes and listen you will find yourself being transported away on a breath-taking journey by pictures their music creates.
Their compositions are so varied, yet they all just blend in together to create a most remarkable and enjoyable concert.
