The search is on to find singers to take part in a 12-hour performance project at this year's Norfolk and Norwich Festival.
Norwich-based open access choir The Voice Project - which during last year's festival presented the 10-hour choral sleepover The Arms of Sleep at Norwich's Assembly House - is now inviting people aged 16 or over to take part in its new production Timepiece at Norwich Cathedral.
The event will see performances take place in the cathedral's cloisters and garth on the hour every hour from noon to midnight on Friday, May 25.
Some performances will be just a single voice while others will feature a small ensemble or a full choir, and together they will explore our relationship with time.
All of the performances will be free for passers-by to watch, with the exception of a special ticketed concert in the cathedral between 9pm and 10pm which will feature the full choir, soloists and instrumentalists.
Jonathan Baker, who runs the The Voice Project with Sian Croose, said everyone was invited to get involved with Timepiece.
'The choir regenerates for each new project and always welcomes new, first-time members,' he said.
'There are no auditions and no previous experience or specialist knowledge is needed, absolutely everyone over 16 is most welcome.'
People can find out more by attending a taster session on Tuesday, March 13 or the first of the weekly rehearsals for Timepiece on Tuesday, March 20.
Meanwhile The Voice Project is also busily preparing to take The Arms of Sleep to the Brighton International Festival, and it will perform the epic choral sleepover at Firle Place on May 11, 12 and 13.
