The 31st Police Gala Day returns to the Norfolk Showground, just off the southern bypass at New Costessey, this Sunday.

The biggest police-organised event of its kind in the country, it regularly attracts thousands of visitors and is a great day of fun for all the family which helps raise funds for local charities.

This year's gala day will focus on the work of the local police service and an interactive display will give visitors the chance to meet the different officers and staff who provide services to the public and how people can help their neighbourhoods.

Alongside the main ring displays there will, as usual, be lots of side shows, trade and charity stands, displays by car clubs, the popular Radio Norfolk Old Car Rally, old buses and lots more.

Gates open from 10am-6pm.

t Admission: Adults £7, children (under 16) £3, families (two adults and up to three children) £15, under-threes free
