Norwich's Chapelfield Gardens is once again hosting the annual festival event, with people of all ages gathering to enjoy the sunshine and cultural picnic of shows and activities.

Among them, A Bird in the Hand Theatre's The Bewonderment Machine has been taking youngsters on a magical journey with a cycle-powered carousel, meanwhile Mind the Gap's Mirror Mirror has brought strange mirrored beings from outer space to mingle with the crowds, and Hikapee's aerial spectacle Look Up is delighting audiences with a mix of circus, puppetry and theatre.

Meanwhile outside The Forum, in Millennium Plain, Ockham's Razor has been wowing people of all ages with the company's show Belly of the Whale which sees performers ride a giant semi-circular see-saw that becomes everything from a catapult to a rocking cradle to a slide.

Close by at City Hall, festival-goers have also been making their voices heard throughout the day on Saturday at Yes, We Can! a free day of community debate which finished with a talk by Man Booker Prize-winning novelist Ben Okri.
