The Eskape to the Muzic Festival and Family Fun Day (10am-10pm) at the Norfolk Showground on Bank Holiday Monday is aimed at raising awareness and funds for Unicef-Bremen's Schools for Africa and Kids&Aids campaigns.

The Eskape to the Muzic Festival and Family Fun Day (10am-10pm) at the Norfolk Showground on Bank Holiday Monday is aimed at raising awareness and funds for Unicef-Bremen's Schools for Africa and Kids&Aids campaigns.

Headlining the festival is artist and actor Magnet Man from Barbados. He has performed all over the world including touring with US rap star Busta Rhymes in 2004 and playing Wembley Stadium and MEN Arena. Backing him at the festival are Norfolk trio James Peach (guitar) Jay Illingworth (bass) and Pete Loades (drums).

More international acts include rising reggae star Raymond Wright from Jamaica, Barbadian hip-hopper Sean 1, the ever-popular local performer Lee Vasey whose big band starts off the afternoon section at 2pm.

Also on the bill are young Norwich band Circus, old skool rockers Ugly Muscle.

Mamacoca, reggae and lovers rock singer Yaz Alexander, local indie favourites Vanilla Kick and alt rockers Ebony Tower.

Also there's a special section for local solo hip hop and grime soloists including Tleevz, Treel, A.L.I, Terra T, Coloured Franko and Lyrical T, Zara, Ricky Lix, and from Detrimental Productions, Japha, Sims and Adam Deacon.

The Family Fun Day includes Live Viking Battles and a 'Viking Village', plus fairground rides.
