Children can show their love for their mum with two special events ahead of Mother's Day in King's Lynn.

On Saturday, March 3, a week before Mothering Sunday, the Vancouver Quarter's Saturday Club will return and see children create a special gift for their mum during the free family-fun workshop on Broad Street from 10am to 3pm.

On the same day, and back for its fourth consecutive year, the Vancouver Quarter will also host a Mother's Day photo shoot from 10am to 4pm at 27 New Conduit Street, opposite Wilko.

Abbie Panks, Vancouver Quarter centre manager, said the pop up studio by Matthew Usher Photography was now fully booked but encouraged families to take part in the workshop on the same day.

'Our Mother's Day workshop last year, which saw little hands getting busy with plant pots for their unique gifts, was incredibly well attended and was arguably our most popular workshops,' she said.
