Norwich will be 'en fete' this Saturday, July 14 for its annual outdoor extravaganza - The Lord Mayor's Celebration. The Street Processions will, travel through the streets of the city from 6.45pm with more than 70 well-adorned floats and featuring bands, dancers and acrobats galore.
The Chapel Field Gardens Music Festival runs from 1pm to 4pm, and 7pm-midnight (headliners: Chas and Dave) continuing on Sunday from noon to 7pm while the sound of brass will be heard in a Bandstand Concert in Chapel Field on Saturday (3-5pm) by Norfolk Reeds.
The Lord Mayor's 5k Classic Road Race rushes through the city centre at 6.25pm on the Saturday featuring some of the country's leading road racers.
And the magic hour comes at 10.30pm when the sky above will be lit up by the cracking firework display from the battlements of Norwich Castle
Leave your car at home if you can - there'll be extra Park and Ride services until 11pm.
