One of the most memorable, and haunting, images from the Vietnam War was brought to life in Norwich as part of the city's festival.
Nick Ut's Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph captured the aftermath when on June 8, 1972, a South Vietnamese aircraft accidentally dropped its napalm payload on the village of Trang Bang.
The image depicted nine-year-old Phan Thi Kim Phue running out of the village with her family to be airlifted to hospital and has raised worldwide awareness of the horrors of war.
Austrian artist Christian Eisenberger, who makes sculptures and one–off installations from cardboard and other found materials, brought his startling life-size reproduction of the photograph to public spaces around the city at the weekend for the Norfolk and Norwich Festival.
