The festive season has kicked-off in style at The Princess Theatre in Hunstanton, with the venue's professional production of Rudolph's Christmas Adventure.

The musical spectacular has already started with over 300 children turning up to the first show.

The show tells the story of Rudolph and fairytale characters attempting to thwart the plans of Mr Crumpus and his sidekick to change Christmas.

Featuring a sack full of Christmas songs, comedy and audience participation, it ticks all the boxes when it comes to family Christmas entertainment.

Writer and director Michele Larkin said: 'This year's show is much bigger and better than anything we have produced at the Princess and has all the ingredients of a West End musical combined with the magic of pantomime.

'Expect a fabulous set, great music and an all-star cast with stunning special effects, a spectacular flying sleigh scene and plenty of fun for the whole family. This production really does make you feel like Christmas has finally arrived.'

The show is produced by Hunstone Productions for the Princess Theatre, who said: 'This is the third year that we have produced the professional Christmas production at the Princess and every year it goes from strength to strength. Audience numbers have more than doubled and it seems that this type of production really is the answer.' Rudolph's Christmas Adventure runs daily through to January 1.
