Harry Hill performed in the comedy tent at this year's Latitude Festival.

To be completely honest, I've never been a big Harry Hill fan, but I know I must be among a minority as he packed out the comedy tent at Latitude this Saturday.

When I began researching Harry to write this review I was surprised to discover that he was training to become a doctor before giving it up to become a comedian in the '90s. I could not imagine the man on stage handing out prescriptions for antibiotics at my local GP surgery, so perhaps it's a good thing he found his true calling.

Anyway, I headed over to watch his set at Latitude with an open mind.

He began his set with a joke about how Latitude was boring...perhaps not the right crowd for that one.

He continued with his usual mix of silly and observational comedy with the occasional blast of a horn.

The crowd lapped up his rap about chain store Debenhams. I, on the other hand, heard the opening bars of Rock and Roll Star and headed off to find Liam.
