Motorists are being steered towards two large park-and-ride sites on the outskirts of Great Yarmouth.

The 5000-space park and rides will operate from the town's Racecourse, for people coming in from the Norwich direction and the north, and at Beacon Park for drivers coming in from the south. Fees range from £10-£18.

All seafront car parks will be closed for the weekend – but there are 600 spaces including Blue Badge slots – at Premium Parking locations at North Drive, South Beach Parade and Euston Road.

SOUTH: Beacon Park, Gorleston - for visitors from the south via the A143 from Fritton or A47 (formerly A12) from Hopton/ Lowestoft). Bus drop off - South Beach Parade.

NORTH: Racecourse - for visitors using the A47 from Acle, A1064 through Filby, or A149 from Potter Heigham. Bus drop-off - Euston Road.

Blue badge holders – book a blue badge holder space and indicate if a wheelchair user to ensure chair spaces on the buses.

Prices £10-18 depending on arrival and departure times.

North Drive - 152 spaces + 8 blue badge

South Beach Parade (opposite Pleasure Beach Gardens) - 321 plus + 22 blue badge

Euston Road - 90 + 8 blue badge

Cars must be parked by 10.30am and cannot leave until after the last display
