Concrete Knives are a 5 piece band from France. They are currently on a huge Europe tour promoting their first album 'Be Your Own King' that was released October 29th last year. Touring is not new to the band with their live shows have recived rave reviews and have won over a strong supporting. Already well-regarded radio DJs such as Steve Lamacq and Rob Da Bank have also praised the band.

Recently interview Concrete Knives talk about their sound;

'Our songs are pretty independent from each other, and from the moment they're born – generally from the mind of Nicolas – they hold a mystery that we need to take the time to solve,' explains vocalist Morgane Colas. 'I really believe that the songs are born as mysterious and inaccessible, and that our job is to give them a sense that's faithful to their essence.'

Here is the latest single from the album, 'Greyhound Racing'.

Concrete Knives are playing Saturday night (9th March) at the Norwich Arts Centre, tickets are still available and can be brought here: http://www.ueaticketbookings.co.uk/events/concrete-knives-presented-by-twee-off---09-03-13-.aspx or at the door on the night.
