Following the release of her third album The Hollow of Morning earlier this year, Gemma Hayes returns to the UK for a short run of special acoustic live dates which includes a concert at Norwich Arts Centre on Sunday (8pm).

Co-produced by long time cohort and collaborator David Odlum, who worked with Gemma on her Mercury Music Prize-nominated debut Night on My Side in 2003, The Hollow of Morning is a 10-track filigree of melody and subtle harmonic rhythms.

Displaying Gemma's charming voice to perfection, this third offering from the Irish singer-songwriter saw Gemma follow the independent trail and release through her own label.

Support comes from Ireland's Ann Scott who has developed a reputation as an intense performer and firebrand songwriter which has seen her nominated in the best female category at the 2005 and 2007 Irish Meteor Awards.

Her debut album Poor Horse was voted into the Hotpress musicians' poll of Ireland's top 100 albums ever, while her second album We're Smiling has met with hearty critical acclaim and a growing number of fresh converts.
