Intended to bring a taste of summer festival fun to Norwich, Party in the Park is a three-day event featuring live music, entertainment, food and drink. Some of Friday's musical highlights include Krafty Kuts, The Doggett Brothers, Hot Damn Norwich and Smokes.

Following two weeks of production rehearsals, the Summer academy participants are ready to take to the stage for a dramatic and musical performance based on the dark tales found in Angela Carter's award winning book, The Bloody Chamber.

The Funky Stuff band is a tribute act dedicated to performing hits from the greatest soul, Motown and disco legends. Expect covers of artists such as Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Marving Gaye, Smokey Robinson and The Temptations.

Celebrate your A Level results or kick start the weekend at Mercy XS where the Cabana Club will be taking it back to the 80s and 90s with an evening of classic R&B hits played by resident DJ Tim Zee from Radio 1xtra.
