Three days of creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky events have been planned for the return of the Fear in the Fens Festival.

Now in its third year, the festival will include three classic horror films, four speakers, locally-made short horror films and live readings of ghost stories.

There will also be a bonus Q&A session with award-winning film and television director Jason Figgis and producer John West.

CULTure Babylon director, Kit Lewis, who organises the festival, said: 'This is our best festival line-up ever. As this is the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, we have a distinctly Gothic feel to this year's festival, with ghost stories, haunted houses, apparitions of hell-hounds and of course, the film Bride of Frankenstein.'

Fear in the Fens Film Festival takes place in Downham Market from October 26-28. For more information and tickets, visit: www.fearinthefens.com.
