Dirty Pretty Things, who last week announced they were to split after their current UK tour, play Norwich UEA on Monday (7.30pm).

Fronted by ex-Libertine Carl Barât (vocals/guitar), Dirty Pretty Things cemented their reputation in grand fashion with their 2006 debut album, Waterloo to Anywhere, a critical smash and commercial success (certified gold) which sent them on tour around the world several times over, where they consolidated all the promise that, previously had so often threatened to spiral out of control. The album contained some terrific highpoints, Deadwood, Bang Bang You're Dead and The Enemy and contained a steely focus Barât had never previously been credited with.

Dirty Pretty Things second album Romance At Short Notice was released through Vertigo Records in June and delivered a huge leap forward from their promising debut.

As usual, over-14s only.
