SEAN ATKINS

It's barely six months since Delirious? were at the Waterfront in Norwich but last night's concert at the UEA was no repeat performance. The band's Fire tour made use of the bigger venue with spectacular video displays to complement the powerful live show.

It began with each band member being introduced with spoof secret agent profiles. Most impressive was the musicians playing in sync with their own promo videos. Cleverest use of a clip was David Beckham's late goal against Greece as History Maker hit an arousing peak.

Drawing on last year's successful Audio Lessonover? album and a back catalogue stretching more than a decade, Delirious? assembled a set of consistently high quality.

Committed fans sang along with great passion and the atmosphere was truly special. Delirious? are getting better all the time and there is clearly more to come.
