Compact Pussycat's Christmas Party featuring Strawberry Blondes, Compact Pussycat and Ruby Red Lips, comes to Norwich Arts Centre tonight (8pm). This is the Strawberry Blondes' first time in Norwich with their updated version of the '77 punk sound on the back of their debut album, Rise Up.
Compact Pussycat return to the Arts Centre bringing with them their unmistakable brand of punk-pop. There are hints of Pauline Murray in the vocals and comparisons with the likes of Buzzcocks and early Siouxie and the Banshees.
Ruby Red Lips are Dereham's finest punk rockers, ripping up the joint so enthusiastically you can't help but be drawn in. Their sights are set high and they are already getting attention from London and New York.
