Mick Taylor, former Rolling Stone, John Mayall's Bluesbreaker and world-renowned blues guitarist, brings his band back to Diss Corn Hall on Saturday (doors 7pm).

Since Mick's last sell-out shows at the same venue in 2002, he has been taking time out, compiling and writing material for a new album and recently preparing a new band for a tour in Europe this March.

His work over the years has seen him join Bob Dylan and Jack Bruce, while the period spent with the Stones was probably their finest, including Honky Tonk Women, Brown Sugar and the excellent Exile on Main Street and Sticky Fingers albums.

Taylor is often bracketed with the likes of Eric Clapton and Peter Green and has lost none of his original rawness and power.

Joining the Mick Taylor Band and providing support are Denny Newman's Regulars featuring Max Middleton and Essex guitarist Clive Mulcahy making his first visit to Diss.
