VINCE YALLOP
Innovative Norwich multi-media club Junktruffle celebrates five years this Saturday, April 2, with a special late-license at Norwich Arts Centre.
The night, which puts as much emphasis on VJs as it does DJs, will be welcoming back as many previous guests as it can fit into two rooms in five hours (8pm-1am).
Those currently confirmed include The Anthropologist (Def Tex, The Marvel), Geigertronic (True Sounds), Synapse (Calyx Records), Dave Breaks (Big Soup), Lukes Anger (Don't Recordings), Tolly (Addictive TV), Zav (Twisted Skunk), Sure D (Def Tex, The Marvel), Honest Bertie (Foundation Sound) and their very own Caeser Harpoon. Music ranges from breaks to funk to dub to hip hop to electro.
Live video mixes come from 2 Bit TV, plus Akama Dhatter (Spaced Out, Transambient, Mixmasters), the AVologists, n0media, From Ere to Ere and others tbc.
Expect new videos in a new visual set up using a new 6m x 8m specially-commissioned screen. You can also interact with a VJamm setup.
