Broadland Youth Choir set to perform in Theatre Royal Norwich in hunt for talent

A leading youth choir set to perform in The Theatre Royal Norwich are on the hunt for talented singers.

Broadland Youth Choir will be performing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat this week and are putting out an appeal for new members.

The Broadland Youth Choir (BYC) has been running for 19 years and consists of a junior and senior section with ages ranging between seven and 18.

The choir rehearses every Friday evening. A spokesman for the choir, which has performed for TV show Songs of Praise, said: 'A young singer can start with the BYC at any age from seven or eight through to eighteen, and will have the advantage of expert voice production tuition and the satisfaction of experiencing the enjoyment and companionship of singing together in harmony.'

The show will run at Norwich Theatre Royal from tomorrow till Saturday. To join the youth choir, phone musical director, Carole Tims on 01603 721912 or 01603 890313.
