Two hotels in West Norfolk will be serving up Norfolk-themed menus on Norfolk Day.
On July 27, Briarfields Hotel in Titchwell will be offering afternoon tea with a mix of local produce including Norfolk White Lady and cranberry ham sandwiches, Norfolk lavender and honey panna cotta, Sharrington strawberry meringue and Norfolk apple and cinnamon cake served with a glass of Pimms.
The Lodge Old Hunstanton has also created a special Norfolk-inspired menu with Great Ryburgh quail, Cromer crab, Wash brown shrimps and Sandringham Red Poll Beef.
'We are delighted to back Norfolk Day and be part of a brilliant celebration of our county,' said operations manager Gavin Wyeth.
'Both Briarfields and The Lodge support many local food and drink producers year-round, and our menus always incorporate seasonal ingredients from the coast and country which surrounds us, but Norfolk Day gives us a special occasion to mark all that we love about Nelson's county.'
