Aylsham Show – the county's biggest one-day agricultural fair – will, as usual, be held on bank holiday Monday in the serene pastoral setting of Blickling Park.
The long-running event on the National Trust estate combines the traditional cattle and horse competitions with family entertainment in the main ring, which this year includes the high-flying motorcycle stunts of Jason Smyth, the Band of the Parachute Regiment, a Gus Dermody sheepdog display, the Royal Artillery Parachute Display Team.
Gates open at 8.30am.
Admission: adults £9, children (under-16) free. Tickets £7.50, available from Coxford's butchers (Aylsham market-place) or Palmer's butchers (North Walsham market-place) or at the gate.
