Irish comedian Jimmy Cricket is to make a return trip to North Walsham after first appearing there in 2009.

His original appearance was the brainchild of local amateur dramatic group director Colin Jeary, who did not think in a hundred years that Jimmy would be interested in performing in a place like North Walsham, but was pleasantly surprised when he agreed.

Following on from that first venture Colin hosted a Gala Night last year featuring Nigel Boy Syer, comedy magician Steve Medler and local singer Dale Bullimore which was a success - apart from the clash with the world cup football.

Now 2011 see's the return of Jimmy Cricket once again performing at North Walsham Community Centre on Friday June 3.

Jimmy will once again be supported by local popular singer Dale Bullimore. Tickets are now on sale for this event which is a raising money for East Anglian Childrens Hospices.

Tickets are priced at adults 9.00 and children 6.00. For more details or to book tickets telephone (01692) 402116.
