An annual event that celebrates South Norfolk will be larger than ever as it celebrates 10 years this weekend.
South Norfolk on Show takes place on Sunday, June 30 from 11-4pm at the district council office grounds on Swan Lane in Long Stratton with free family entertainment and over 50 local craft and food stalls.
Earlier this year South Norfolk Council received a £12,000 Arts Council grant to deliver the show over the next three years to enhance the quality of the artistic contributions.
Crowds this year will be entertained by the hilarious modern-day madcap clown Maynard Flip Flap, local singer songwriter Breeze Redwine and dance group, Joe Garbett Dance.
Professional storyteller Suzanne the Story Weaver will enthral, while the Poetry Take Away van will be busy creating bespoke poems. Budding artists can create their own water colour painting with Norfolk artist Gill Starkie, or join local independent Art School Artpocket and transform 2D into 3D using paper folding and cutting to create mini worlds, cities and towns.
