Multi-talented perfomer Richard Digance makes a return visit to Sheringham Little Theatre this Saturday, November 14.
Digance is respected by comedians and musicians.
He is rated by many as a great acoustic guitarist, inspired by his good friend Ralph McTell, and as an entertainer.
Comedian Ross Noble claims Digance as one of his major influences.
On his own ITV Saturday-night show, Digance played guitar with Queen's Brian May, The Moody Blues, Status Quo, Chris de Burgh, Juan Martin, Marc Cohn and Elkie Brooks.
His loyal following includes a younger generation attracted by both his guitar playing and the fact he has inspired many modern-day performers, to the super-loyal who have followed him since the time he had his own TV series, and even further back, when he started out in folk clubs.
Over the years Digance has earned awards including a BAFTA nomination as a TV entertainer, and a gold award from the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters.
He has supported Steve Martin in the USA, Robin Williams at The London Palladium and is included in The Virgin Anthology of Songwriters for his contribution to British comedy song writing.
Supporting Richard Digance on Saturday will be Suffolk's Broadside Boys.
Digance spotted the song-writing duo at this year's Folk on the Pier festival.
The performance is at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £14, box office 01263 822347, or www.sheringhamlittletheatre.com
