An array of new music acts have been announced for this year's Norwich Sound and Vision Festival.
The three-day music and media event is returning for its seventh year in 2016 and will take place across the city from Thursday, October 13 until Saturday, October 15.
Sixteen new acts have now been revealed and among them are female fronted psych-rock band Purson, multi-instrumentalists Let's Eat Grandma, indie songwriter Hannah Lou Clark and experimental band Plastic Mermaids.
Norwich Sound and Vision music programmer Jenny Allison said she was really excited about the artists performing at this year's festival and that there would be more than 50 acts once all of them were announced.
'We always try to have a real mixture that spans the genres,' she said, adding that people could buy a festival gig wristband that offered entry to all of the music events.
'The gig wristband is a really great way of hopping between venues and taking a chance on a band that you might not have heard of. It's a great way to discover your new favourite music and to see performances in intimate venues.'
