Retro music extravaganza Reload Festival will be taking to the stage at the Norfolk Showground this weekend. Arts correspondent Emma Knights finds out more.
Music fans are set to have fun dancing to an array of retro hits at the Norfolk Showground this weekend.
The Reload Festival is back for a fourth year, giving festival-goers the chance to have fun dancing back through the decades with a mix of pop, disco, soul and more.
About 20,000 people are expected to flock to the music extravaganza on Saturday and Sunday.
Soul II Soul, Level 42 and Heatwave are among the acts performing on the main stage on Saturday, meanwhile on Sunday acts will include Billy Ocean, Blue and Aswad.
New for 2017 is the Discotheque Stage which will host Jazzie B, Smokin Jo and more on Saturday and acts including Trevor Nelson and Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club on Sunday. There is also a Club Tropicana area and lots of other festivities.
Reload Festival organiser Roy Trickett said: 'After an amazing year for Sundown [at the Norfolk Showground last weekend], we're really looking forward to welcoming fans for another incredible Reload Festival.
'We're very proud to have Soul II Soul and Billy Ocean as this year's headliners alongside a line-up of superstars including Blue, Level 42, Jocelyn Brown and Aswad. There really is something for everyone and I don't think you'll hear more hit singles at one festival all year.
'We've added the new Discotheque Stage this year, which will host some of the finest DJs on the planet, with Jazzy B, Trevor Nelson, Danny Rampling and Craig Charles so we're expecting non stop dancing all weekend.
'There's also kids entertainment, breakfast bingo, live karaoke and the chance to record your own track in the Abbey Road Studios Songshack, so the whole family can come and enjoy a great weekend's entertainment as well as all the music. We can't wait to open the gates and start the show.'
People can choose to go to one or both days of the Reload Festival, and there is also a camping option as well.
The festival runs from midday until 10.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday. For campers the festival is open from 11am on Friday until 12pm on Monday.
