When Rag'n'Bone Man took to the Obelisk stage at ten past six on Sunday it was still 26 degrees, and the crowd were sizzling in more ways than one.
It must have been one of the hottest Latitudes on record. Despite the heat (and a few sunburnt backs) the crowd were in high spirits and soon swaying to the sounds of Rag'n'Bone Man's soulful voice. He performed tracks from his 2014 EP Wolves and hit songs from album 'Human' which won him a Brit Award in 2017 for British Breakthrough Act.
His unique voice was the perfect choice for this time on a Sunday afternoon. His blend of blues, soul and hip-hop was the melodic remedy to a wonderful, warm weekend. The crowd were reclining in the sunshine, swaying to the beat and singing along to his hits. Another stand out performance of the weekend.
