A group of young people at Latitude, working with the Eastern Daily Press/Creative Nation in the Inbetweeners project area went out and about at the festival to find out what people made of the Suffolk event.
The Latitude Young Reporters workshop team were: Britt Dewing, 14, Verity Wilson, 14, Hannah Birtwell, 13, Erin Lavington Woods,12, Amelia Wilson and Caitlin Sydney, 14, all from Norwich. William Parlons, 12, from London. Lila and Ruby, Alex and Erika from North Wales, Ella Murgatroyd from Buckinghamshire and Stella Bischoff from Caernarfon (North Wales).

What was your most memorable experience or best act at Latitude?
Qi
What's your verdict on the food offering at Latitude?
Great and very varied. The best thing we ate was a beef flank dish, 18 hours slow cooked.
One or two comedians have suggested Latitude is an expression of middle class guilt, what do you think about that?
We're exactly those kind of people… marvellous. Too much talk on Trump, but my as my son says: 'We pay your benefits'
What's your verdict on the lavatories at Latitude?
Pretty good. Some are very good but the facilities by the main arena not so much.
What makes Latitude unique and different to other festivals?
It's totally safe and non-threatening.
There are some pretty imaginative outfits people are wearing at Latitude, what's the wackiest thing you've seen?
Oh my god, yes! I better not describe it. Brilliant!

What was your most memorable experience or best act at Latitude?
Solange. I thought she was rubbish to be honest with you. The Charlatans were good.
What's your verdict on the food offering at Latitude?
Expensive. We like the Churros though.

Some comedians are too smart for their own good. They can keep their opinion on that to themselves as far as I'm concerned!
What's your verdict on the lavatories at Latitude?
Adequate. As an expression of capitalism, I think you can buy better plumbing!

It's so safe. This feels really nice.

Sheep with pink wool.

What was your most memorable experience or best act at Latitude?
Being drunk with my sisters in the woods. My favourite act was probably a guy called Nathaniel Ratterliff. He was marvellous.
What's your verdict on the food offering at Latitude?
Too expensive. Yummy, but expensive. The best thing I ate was a curry.
One or two comedians have suggested Latitude is an expression of middle class guilt, what do you think about that?
Easy gag and true. Bit I get a little bit sick of hearing it.
What's your verdict on the lavatories at Latitude?
For a festival they're okoy, even if some of the doors don't shut properly.
What makes Latitude unique and different to other festivals?
Theatre and poetry. It's the art and the strong comedy.
There are some pretty imaginative outfits people are wearing at Latitude, what's the wackiest thing you've seen?
Something in neon, I think it was some sort of Superman costume.

Monsters of Main.
What's your verdict on the lavatories at Latitude?
Smelly, not the best, to be honest.

What's your verdict on the food offering at Latitude?
There's a really good selection and I think the best thing I've had so far was a Pad Thai from the street food area.

They're very good and clean.

A bunch of people with big native American headdresses.

What was your most memorable experience of Latitude?
The dustiness! It's incredibly hot and dusty.
What's your verdict on the food offering at Latitude?
It's expensive but yummy. Our favourite thing is the fried chicken.

We agree! Times five!
What's your verdict on the lavatories at Latitude?
They are too far away and a bit dirty.
What was your favourite act at Latitude?
The Killers.

What was your most memorable experience of Latitude?
Our highlight of the weekend was being down at the front for Belle and Sebastian.
What's your verdict on the food offering at Latitude?
The food is lovely. There is a wide variety of options from different cultures. Our favourite was the jerk chicken and gravy.

What was your favourite act at Latitude?
Confidence Man. I saw the crowd growing with people from all ages and backgrounds just dancing together.
What makes Latitude unique and different to other festivals?
It is family orientated and there really is something for everyone.
What's your verdict on the food offering at Latitude?
The food has been delicious, however the queues are quite long. I had a very nice Greek wrap, but sadly the salad fell out while I was watching Belle and Sebastian at the Lake Stage!
What's your verdict on the lavatories at Latitude?
The loos are relatively clean in the family camping area but the outdoor ones aren't so great.
There are some pretty imaginative outfits people are wearing at Latitude, what's the wackiest thing you've seen?
My favourite outfit was some people in glittery, skin-tight catsuits. I thought these were the best, purely because they were so creative and unexpected.

Seeing James was an incredible experience.
What makes Latitude unique and different to other festivals?
It's so good for children and everyone is so helpful.
What's your verdict on the food offering at Latitude?
The food is excellent. We really enjoyed the brownies and the coconut curry (not at the same time)!

We saw a family all dressed as the characters from Alice in Wonderland.

Geneva and Oh My God it's the Church.

It's so spread out with lots of variety for everyone.

I actually saw a unicorn. With Snow White.

We've been meeting some fantastic people, and the best act we've seen is Churches.
What makes Latitude unique and different to other festivals?
The layout is great and the people make Latitude really special. The lake and the lovely setup are amazing.

The drunk transvestite and friend's weird costume was cool.
