Bebeto String Quartet @ the Hunstanton Festival

String quartet Bebeto got Hunstanton's 60th festival off to a storming start.
Their off-beat approach to the classics livened up lunchtime at Smithdon High School and turned home time at Hunstanton First into an impromptu prom.
The flying foursome got their second wind for the festival launch party at the Town Hall, before rushing for their train.
West Norfolk's Deputy Mayor Andy Tyler told the assembled throng he had been to many festivals, but this was the first time he had ever been asked to give the opening speech.
“I hope the festival will be a great success and all members of the community will visit some of the events and gain pleasure from them,” he said.
Hunstanton Mayor Geoffrey Smith said: “It's going to be a varied event and there'll be something or everyone.”
Festival director Pauline Farncombe – who discovered Bebeto at a London trade fair – said: “They were at the First School as the children came out.
“The look on the children's faces was worth every penny.”
Tonight sees a serious coup (que..?) with Fawlty Towers waiter Manuel – aka Andrew Sachs – talking about Life After Fawlty at the Princess Theatre.
