Wroxham are in buoyant mood ahead of today's FA Trophy preliminary round tie at Ryman Division One North leaders Harlow Town.

Boosted by last Saturday's emphatic 8-0 league win at home to Romford, the Yachtsmen are looking for another good result on the 3G pitch at Barrows Farm Stadium, and to claim the prize money of £2,500.

Manager Stewart Larter said: 'We lost 2-1 at home to them last month but we more than matched them in the first half and led until just before the interval.

'Then we gave away a sloppy goal which lifted them and they took the lead early in the second half but we still had several chances to equalise.

'We will have to get use to the pitch at their place where they do have an advantage as they are undefeated in the league and play on the surface all the time. We trained at Easton College during the week ahead of the game.'

Striker Christy Finch is in fine form, scoring four against Romford to move up to second in the top-scorers' list with 12 goals, only trailing Harlow's Alex Read who is ahead of him on 15.

Matt Halliday and Jack Garrod are both available, with a trip to Essex to face Great Wakering up for grabs in the next round.
