Jamie Godbold and Andy Reynolds have taken charge at Wroxham after a management shake-up at Trafford Park.

The pair – who have had spells together in charge at Kirkley & Pakefield and AFC Sudbury – return to football at the expense of Tom Parke and Ross Potter who have left the club along with assistant Dominic Jones.

The Yachtsmen have slipped to 11th in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division after four league defeats in a row, with Parke and Potter perhaps paying the price for putting youth development ahead of team development, according to club chairman Lee Robson.

In a statement on the club's official website, Robson said: 'Jamie is hugely respected coach and manager and his partnership with Andy Reynolds has delivered a track record of success at a number of clubs.

'I am delighted he has agreed to work with us to continue to rebuild the club and get us back competing at the high end of football in the region.

'Tom, Ross and Dom leave with our thanks and best wishes for all of their passion and hard work in reviving the club's fortunes and helping us re-adjust following last season's relegation from the Isthmian League.

'They have brought in a squad of superb young players who will develop and achieve as they get more experience at this level.

'Recent results haven't been as good as they could have been and maybe the club has to accept that in stressing youth development rather than team development hampered Tom and Ross making as much progress as hoped.

'A review by the board felt it was time to make a change and inject some structure and energy back into our season and our preparations for next season.'

Godbold was on the books at Stoke City for six years and later became an integral player for Lowestoft Town.

With former Blues goalkeeper Reynolds as his assistant, he enjoyed a promising spell of management at Kirkley & Pakefield before moving on to Isthmian League side AFC Sudbury, where Godbold followed in the footsteps of former Wroxham boss David Batch.

Godbold and Reynolds led the Suffolk side to the Ryman Premier Division but was dismissed in September following relegation.
