Bircham remain top of Division One by 38 points after a five-wicket win against Heacham.

Heacham posted 138-6 yet Collin Humphrey hit an unbeaten 53, ably supported by Paul Lough with 33, to complete the run chase. Terrington took over from Sandringham, who they dismissed for 119, in second with Adam Hodgson (3-27) and Hammad Ali (3-19) shining. IBA insurance services man of the match Ali hit an unbeaten 53 to see Terrington home.

Damien Twiddy took 3-17 as Snettisham restricted Castle Rising to 157-8. An unbroken fourth wicket stand saw Snettisham to victory with Mark Utteridge scoring 58 not out and Ryan Twiddy 39no.

In a match reduced to 35 overs, Denver posted 209-8 with Dan Cornwell scoring 47. Robert Hooton took 3-32 for Castle Acre. James Peach snared 4-22 as his side restricted Acre to 134-7.

Division Two leaders Northwold played Holt, second. Jason Plumpton hit a magnificent 84 out of a total of 154. Michael Curtis took 7-43. M Butcher destroyed the Holt line-up taking a WNCL season's best 8-17 as Holt could only manage 43 in reply.

Hockwold took advantage to take over second to trail Northwold by just 12 points with the teams due to play each other next week. Michael Reeve (70) and Simon Groom 102no helped Hockwold reach 248-4. Tony Exley (49) fought well but his troops were bowled for 105. Sandringham A upset the form book by beating Narborough A by 146 runs. A good contribution from James Buhlemann (57) saw Sandringham A reach 245-5. Adi Nicol took 5-17 as Narborough A were bowled out for 99.

Batting first Gooderstone reached 186 all out with Glenn Fossey scoring 60. Kevin Bandy took 3-25 as Downham B were all out for 93. Stuart Beales top scored with 65 as Gayton reached 135-8 with AMBiT Project MoM Kevin Fisher bowling 12-6-18-3. S Naqvi took 3-32 but couldn't prevent Hospital securing a six-wicket victory.

Thornham (253-1) maintained their 100pc Division Three record with Christopher (Alf) Burgess (120no) scoring his maiden century. Billy Brotherton took 3-41 as Castle Rising were bowled for 94.
