The quarter-finals of the Bob Carter/Naco Cup were blighted by call-offs, with only two of the ties actually going ahead.
Ashmanhaugh and Barton Wanderers and Garboldisham conceded their games in the competition for first round losers in the Carter Cup proper, meaning scheduled opponents Horsford and Diss progressed without playing.
There was a exciting game at Halvergate where Vauxhall Mallards edged home by eight runs against North Runcton after being dismissed for 199 (Harry Barker 70, Hudson De Lucchi 54). Their Norfolk Alliance opponents finished on 191-9 in reply.
The derby between Bradfield and Cromer was a more one-sided affair. Cromer made an imposing 284-7 (Matthew Warnes 102) and that was more than enough to book a last four spot, with Bradfield being dismissed for 165 as Michael Warnes took 3-19 and Kristian Regis 3-17.
Semi-finals (July 2): Mallards v Horsford, Cromer v Diss.
