BLACKDYKE: The fishing has been excellent this week with damsels, gold head daddies and buzzers all taking plenty of fish. For anyone interested in improving their fishing techniques we will be running some workshops on a Saturday morning through November along with fly tying in the afternoon. Check out the website for dates.
LARKWOOD: Fish are still up on the surface coming to take dries and emergers; traditional wets just under the surface have also taken fish. Best fish of the week was an 8lb 4oz brownie – which was returned. Best method floating line with a long leader, keeping a low profile and fishing the edges.
