It's as you were at the summit of the Empresa Norfolk Women's League Premier Division after the top two were both held to draws.

The match of the day in the top flight saw leaders on goal difference Norwich City II visit third-placed Norwich Dragons III, and a hard-fought encounter ended in a goalless draw.

City almost won it from a late short corner, with Angela Hindle getting a shot away to the far post and Rosie Humphrey narrowly missing out on a deflection.

While City had the majority of possession and had more short corners, shots and balls turned over, their hosts had their moments too and battled away bravely for their point. Angela Murgatroyd was Dragons' player-of-the-match.

Broadland would have gone back to the top with a win but they had to settle for a 2-2 draw at Evergreens. The hosts took the lead from a penalty corner but the equaliser was not long in coming, Natasha Blyth picking out top scorer Dani Parke, who confidently swept the ball home.

Evergreens soon found the net again from another penalty corner to lead at the break but Broadland stuck to their task and equalised through Georgie Stannett after a pass from Parke.

Fourth-placed Harleston Magpies IV won 4-2 at their Dragons counterparts while in other top flight games UEA II beat basement side Carrow 6-0 and Loddon and Dereham III shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

Division One leaders Lowestoft Railway saw their match at Diss postponed, but they remain seven points clear at the top.

That's because nearest challengers Broadland II slipped up, going down 2-0 at home to Reepham. Sarah Louden put the visitors ahead in the first half when she squeezed the ball home after her first effort had struck the woodwork and Katie Lake later doubled their advantage through a penalty stroke.

Dragons V are just three points behind Broadland in fourth after winning 3-1 at Beccles.

In Division Two Norwich Dragons VI recorded a notable 2-1 win over leaders Norwich City V. Jemima Dorman and Lilly Sore were on target for Dragons while Ruby Rose-Turrell was named player-of-the-match on her debut. Amelia Barclay scored for City.
