The weather was better than forecast and 25 boats enjoyed some exciting racing.

In the Fast Handicap fleet, Ben Falat, sailing his Phantom, finished first in all three races but on corrected time it was his wife Veronica in her Streaker who took the wins while he dropped to third overall, a point behind Alan Cone's Laser.

In the Slow Handicap, Harry Purvis led each race in his Laser Radial but couldn't get far enough ahead to win on corrected time and it was 12-year-old George Madin, sailing his RS Tera Pro, who won overall and Jamie Dobson (Topper) took third.

Only two Lasers raced in their class races and Simon Beckett was dominant. There were also only two Broads One Designs, with Sam Cole's Pipit taking the trophy. Like the BODs, the Squibs sailed only two races and Richard Smith and Andrea Prime in Flame won both.
