Once again Holt find themselves travelling into deepest Essex tomorrow for their first ever visit to Old Cooperians at Upminster.
Promoted to London Two for the first time in their history last season, they are one of the few remaining true Old Boys teams, but have been finding it tough going at level seven so far without a win in four games.
However, the indications are they like to move the ball around and can get across the try line, having scored nearly twice as many points as Holt have in their last two fixtures. Nevertheless, they also have a habit of conceding points, especially against a powerful set of forwards, conceding over 100 points in their last two games.
The match will prove a big test for Holt who, having lost three out of their four outings, find themselves in the relegation zone once again and can only blame themselves for their failure to secure victory when in winnable positions.
