Sportspark in Norwich was the venue for the East of England Sportshall athletics championships.
The excitement and enthusiasm from the Norfolk teams was justified as they won all of the team events, which has never happened before.
The under 13 girls set the ball rolling with a clear victory, forcing Essex into second place. The under 13 boys continued the success, finishing well ahead of Cambridge. The under 15 girls team pushed Hertfordshire into second and the under 15 boys had a narrow win ahead of Cambridgeshire.
Sportshall is an introduction to athletic events for the younger athletes and consists of events such as speed bounce, vertical jump, shot putt and relays. The under 15 girls won the national championship last year. All four of the Norfolk teams will go on to compete in the national championships at Sport City in Manchester next month.
