RORY Schlein won the 2020 British Final at a wet Belle Vue.
The Aussie held off the attentions of former Witch Richard Lawson in the final. Jason Crump, who was set to race for the Witches this summer was third and Steve Worrall was fourth.
For Crump, it was a dream meeting. He rolled back the years at 45 years old, to produce some wonderful passing and gating and if he does decide to come back to Ipswich in 2021, it will be a thrill for the Foxhall fans.
Young Witch Drew Kemp won two races and enjoyed a cracking meeting, just missing out on the semi-final, but there was disappointment for Danny King, the 2016 champion, who won just one race, but didn’t reach the semi-final.
