Great Yarmouth's Sophie McKinna will renew her rivalry with Rachel Wallader after both were named in an 11-strong GB team for the European Throwing Cup in Portugal.
McKinna battle with Wallader was one of the highlights of the recent British Indoor Championships in Birmingham,.
Wallader came out on top with a last round throw of 17.45m – an indoor personal best – after McKinna had thrown a personal best of 17.42m.
The European Throwing Cup will be held in Leiria on March 10-11.
Peter Stanley, head of field events at British Athletics, said: 'We witnessed a fantastic shot put competition at the British Athletics Indoor Championships a couple of weekends ago so I am delighted to select Rachel and Sophie to compete alongside Europe's best to continue their strong start to the 2018 campaign.'
