Norwich's Danny McIntosh lost out to Welshman, Hari Miles, in the semi-finals of the 30th Prizefighter at York Hall on Saturday night.
The 33-year-old, who started his campaign with victory over Rotherham's Neil Dawson, lost out in a tight contest in the last four as Miles shaded it.
McIntosh landed some clean punches in the first round but his opponent went on the front foot in the second round as Miles turned the aggressor.
McIntosh tried to repair the damage in the final round with some accurate punching but Miles had just done enough as the judges scored it 30-27 and 29-28 twice.
However, Wadi Camacho stopped Miles in the second round of the final to pocket the £32,000 prize money along with an extra £2,000 for forcing a stoppage.
