The “sold out” signs won't be going up in the Carrow Road box office just yet - as the Canaries today revealed they still have season tickets for sale.

City hit their season ticket ceiling of 20,096 last season, but have yet to reach that figure for the 2006-07 campaign.

After nine out of 10 fans renewed their seats for next season and a further 1,800 on the waiting list were given their chance to buy,

the current total sold stands at 19,912 for the 2006-07 campaign.

It means there are still nearly 200 season tickets available for fans looking to be sure of a seat.

With the opening Coca-Cola Championship home match against Preston still five weeks away, a minor shortfall is unlikely to worry club officials, especially as their renewal rate of 90 per cent was far higher than most of their main Championship rivals.

But it does perhaps indicate a reluctance among undecided fans to invest in a full season while they still await manager Nigel Worthington's first new signing of the summer, more than nine weeks after the final match of 2005-06.

Andrew Cullen, City director of sales and marketing, said: “The figure is now 19,912, which means we have just under 200 season tickets to go, but they are limited in terms of where people can buy them.

“Because we have been allocating seats to people who have signed up to the Hat-trick Plan, season tickets are now available only in the Norwich and Peterborough Stand or Barclay Stand.”

About 3,500 City members opted for the Hat-trick Plan, which gives admission to seven games during the season.

City have so far sold 5,000 seats for Craig Fleming's testimonial match against Newcastle United on Wednesday, July 26.

The Canaries are selling tickets only for their home pre-season friendlies - the testimonial game and the final warm-up fixture against Northampton on Saturday, July 29.

Seats for Fleming's testimonial are £15 for adults and £10 for concessions (senior citizens, students and under-16s) in Jarrold Stand centre seating and the City Stand lounges. All other seating is £12 for adults, £7 (senior citizens, students and under 16s) and £3 for under-12s.

For the match against Northampton, seats in the City Stand Castle and Cathedral lounges are £10. Tickets for the County and 59ers lounges and areas J, K, L and M in the Jarrold Stand are £9. Other seats in the City Stand and Jarrold wings are £8 for adults, £4 for senior citizen/students and £1 for under-16s. All other areas are £6 for adults, £4 for senior citizens/students and £1 for under-16s.

Tickets for the first pre-season friendly against Fakenham at Clipbush Park next Wednesday, which kicks off at 7.30pm, cost £8 (£5 for under-14s and senior citizens) and are available in Fakenham from Lawnwise & Leisure in Oak Street, Newsklip in Bridge Street, Aldiss Intersport in Upper Market and Jewsons at Hempton, as well as Jewsons in Norwich. There will also be admission on the night.
