A dominant display from AFC Hornchurch meant the visitors to Trafford Park claimed a very well earned three points.
A stunning hat-trick from George Purcell and a header from David Knight gave Hornchurch the spoils.
The Yachtsmen started the game well but the visitors struck first in the ninth minute against the run of play.
Charlie Norman and Lewis Sturman went up for a header, they both missed the ball which then saw Purcell take the ball past the keeper and slot home to give the visitors the lead.
Hornchurch doubled their advantage in the 35th minute as Knight met Purcell's pinpoint cross to head the ball home.
The game was put to bed before the break as Purcell showed some fantastic skill on the edge of the Wroxham penalty area to find space and smash the ball into the top right hand corner.
Wroxham rallied at the start of the second half but Hornchurch were still a threat and it came as no surprise to see Purcell complete his hat-trick in the 66th minute as he smashed home a free-kick.

The 75th minute saw the introduction of Matty Waters, who came on for Seamus Kelleher, who seemed to be the Yachtsmen's only bright spark in the game. The Yachtsmen should have pulled a goal back in the closing stages of the game as a fantastic through ball was met by Danny Beaumont who hesitated and the chance was gone.
