A new running event has been added to the Norfolk calendar for 2020 with the launch of Run Sandringham to take place in June.

The first ever organised half marathon will be run in the Sandringham Estate on Sunday, June 21 but hundreds of runners will also get the chance to take part in a 5K event and a community mile.

The event, which will start and finish within the estate, will take place around the trails of Sandringham and event director Aaron Murrell is looking forward to leading the race.

"I cannot wait to bring Run Sandringham to the East Anglian running calendar in 2020. With kind permission from the Royal Estate, I look forward to seeing hundreds take part at Sandringham fulfil their running goals at this brand new event - be it those heading around the estate for an easy run, through to those who will train for months achieving their PBs along the way. We also want to support as many good causes as possible - and we encourage runners to raise funds for charitable causes once they have signed up to enter."

Registration has already opened and you can gain more information about the event at www.runsandringham.co.uk
