Reigning Classic Stock Hatch champion Matt Rozier led every lap of the two races at Snetterton, but fell foul of officialdom who penalised the race winner back to second place in the opening encounter, after infringing the track limit regulations, to the benefit of Andrew Thorpe.
Lee Scott was another to lose places in the opening encounter, elevating Banham's Matthew Stubbington to the lower step of the podium while the local racer couldn't quite manage to dislodge Edward Cooper in race two to repeat his earlier position.
Victory and a second place in the pair of RGB races has put Billy Albone in pole position as the series started their season off at Snetterton.
In the opening encounter Albone held off Scott Mittell, while he had to displace current title holder Matthew Higginson on the very last lap of the second race.
Meanwhile, Attlebrough's Paul Rogers worked hard to secure sixth in race one while he was a solid eighth position in the second encounter.
A last-lap pass on Martin James gave Mark Higginson victory in the opening Honda Civic Cup race, while James charged through the lower order in event two, but was unable to displace Mark Grice.
Ryan Polley, from March, didn't made good use of pole position in the reverse grid Renault Clio 182 event, but still fought his way to the front, while a late surge from Don De Graaff gave him victory in race one.
Adam Shepherd led every lap of the twin BMW M3 Cup events while Ben Short had to displace fast-starting Alistair Bray from the lead of both Mazda MX5 races on lap two before hanging on to a narrow pair of victories.
Tom Bell won both the Hot Hatch races from Alastair Camp, who led the early laps of the second encounter but was unable to deny Bell a double, while Blofield's Martin Ward ended up in seventh and eighth places on his home circuit.
Lewis Carter was an easy winner of the opening BMW 330 race – a feat he repeated later in the day on Sunday, while Martin Depper eased to victory in the opening Historic 750 Formula race with Paul Mason winning the Handicap event with the Ginetta G50 of Alan Henderson and Daniel Irving leading every lap of the hour-long Club Endro.
