Norfolk & Suffolk Flyfishers' multi-colour restocking at East Tuddenham – fin perfect rainbows, blues and brownies from West Acre Fish Farms – should gladden the hearts of some visitors who have found the going challenging at times over the last few days.
However, for the second week running, Andy Smith, from Aslacton, banked a double limit bag, roving between the two lakes – tactics also put to good use by committee member Phil Haney who took his on the ever-popular damsel nymph.
The fishery will be hoping it can help John Waterhouse, from Ilketshall St Andrew, find the fish when he enjoys his prize of a day's fishing for two with instructions for winning their 'Guess the number of flies round the honeypot' competition at a rather soggy Royal Norfolk Show in aid of the East Anglia's Children's Hospices and also those taking part in a £10 'Try the Fly' sessions on Saturday and Sunday, both of which are now fully booked.
