Last Sunday saw Forest Edge Arena's penultimate show in the Rands & Wilson Feeds Winter unaffiliated showjumping series. With qualifiers for the championship show on Sunday, March 17, the series has produced record entries this season, with the championship looking set to offer a great competition for both competitors and spectators.

The five classes of the day started with the Novice 60cm, producing a win for young Millie Hale from Chevington, Suffolk, riding Rachael Hale's Trixie Dixie.

With 28 starters, the 70cm class was the biggest class of the event. A regular rider at Forest Edge, Sophie Mann from Woodrising, Norwich, riding Chris Mann's Rush On, did just that, clocking an unbeatable time from Freya Giles and Rupert Bear in second place.

The 80cm class was the most exciting to watch, and with a very upbeat atmosphere around the collecting ring it made an enjoyable day for all involved. The eventual winner was Boola Tinker ridden by Izzy Gabin from Newmarket.

In the larger 90cm class Isabella Stagg won riding Lucy Stagg's Orchia's Careyan, and the final class of the day, the 1.00m Open was won by local rider Claire Pye riding her own, Toscarmanda.
