Norfolk Under-10s were thwarted by the rain as their Suffolk counterparts held out for a draw at Topcroft.

Norfolk posted a solid total of 195-7, with Thomas Robson scoring an impressive 60 and captain Lewis Reeder 40.

In reply Suffolk had slipped to 62-9 in the 23rd over when the umpires called the players off. Opening bowlers Will Panter (5.5-1-25-3) and Lewis Reeder (5-2-4-2) both impressed, as did Johnny Shaw (3-2-1-1) and Sushant Singh (3-0-7-1).

Norfolk Under-11s compiled a competitive 189-7 from their 40 overs against Bedfordshire at Eaton Bray. A patient 42 from opener James Woodhead and a well-crafted 38 from skipper Arthur Wilcox were the bedrock of the total.

Belligerent batting from Thomas Maynard (58) gave Bedfordshire a flying start, but Norfolk chipped away at the home batting line-up before an exceptional under-arm direct hit from Trent Stoltz saw Norfolk bowl them out for 185 for an exciting four-run win.
